Monochrome- the timeless trend on which we can depend!
This month, i was inspired by the Marques ‘Almeida Autumn/Winter 2017 show.
Monochromatic tones and bold patterns feature heavily in this upcoming collection (which you can view full-size in this Vogue Gallery)
Here are my favourite, affordable monochrome outfits from my wardrobe!
This black Primark jumpsuit was an absolute bargain as I got it on sale this year for £3.00. I love the tie detail on the shoulder and the cropped leg. I paired it with a £4.00 H&M sale white top with ruffle detail.
The black satchel bag with gold clasp is from Primark. It is versatile and perfect for a day in the city. The ankle boots are also from Primark and only cost £10.00 in the sale!

This whimsical outfit was a staple of my Italy wardrobe! This pleated circle skirt was just £7.00 from a vintage shop in Edinburgh. I paired with some patent brogues and a simple long sleeve bardot top.

In keeping with the vintage theme, I finished the outfit with a pair of black cat-eye sunglasses from Primark.
This was my perfect site seeing outfit for a hot day in Florence.

These were my first ever statement trousers, and now I’m hooked!
I styled these wide-legged Primark trousers with another black bardot top- this time short sleeved. Even my handbag is in keeping with the theme and only cost £5.00 in another fab Primark sale.

I love the striped monochrome pattern. I think its flattering, eye-catching and great for a casual day. The flared bottom is also very on trend and perfect with some cute ankle boots.

These Primark culottes are light and airy, perfect for a summers day in London. I dressed them down by pairing with a Boohoo.com cropped cami and a Boohoo.com black bomber which was £6.00 in the sale.

Lastly, I have styled this white denim jacket, which cost £1.00 from an East London Vintage/Thrift warehouse.

I juxtaposed a casual denim jacket with some smart high waisted trousers from Primark. Paper bag waist trousers are my new favourite thing! I find they flatter my shape and can be styled very easily.
To finish, I wore some black patent brogues with some glitter socks and a simple black cami.
Which was your favourite outfit?
