Last week, I was invited along to a special event with Pandora. Myself and and a few other lovely bloggers gathered at the gorgeous Ivy Tower Bridge restaurant to celebrate the wedding gifts and bridesmaid's collections. We also had the lovely Katie, from London Calligraphy, with us to teach (or attempt to, in my case) writing in calligraphy - *spoiler alert* I was terrible!
The setting was perfect; a beautiful room overlooking Tower Bridge. I could easily imagine an engagement dinner being held in this room. The long banquet table was set to perfection, with each of us having our name and beginner's calligraphy set awaiting us.
There was a table set aside to feature some of the beautiful jewellery pieces from the wedding collections. I was especially drawn to the rings - so many to choose from!
A glass of prosecco later and it was time to get scribing! We attempted letters, one by one, using a piece of lined paper to guide us. I had the most trouble trying to get to grips with the correct way to control the fountain pen. After a while we moved onto fully formed words and phrases. Let's just say, I won't be writing any invitations any time soon!
We were kindly gifted this beautiful, silver necklace at the event.

I think it is such a beautiful idea to gift your bridesmaids with a special gift to help commemorate a special day. I know I would be thrilled to see receive the iconic, white Pandora bag, containing something special!
