25hours Hotel, Paris

25hours Hotel, Paris

Hey Guys,
Today, I am letting you into Paris' best kept secret - the incredible 25hours Hotel, Terminus Nord! I was kindly invited by the press team at 25 Hours, to stay for two days in Paris with my partner. The experience was wonderful and I have nothing but praise for this quirky hotel, situated directly on the doorstep of the Eurostar terminal.
We arrived around midday on a Tuesday afternoon. The Eurostar was affordable and convenient, taking us right from the centre of London, to the front door of our Hotel! We were able to check in straight away, despite arriving earlier than our check-in time and after being whisked up to the second floor via the top-to-bottom, gold mirrored elevator, we arrived at room 226 - our Parisian home. The pictures I had seen online, did not compare to the feeling of seeing our room for the first time. It was the same reaction people have on room-makeover shows upon seeing their newly decorated room, although I had never lived here before! I genuinely gasped at how fun and beautifully decorated our room was. The African-inspired decor was colourful and a welcome difference to typical hotel decor. I loved the attention to detail - a recurring theme throughout the entire hotel.
After taking in the main bedroom, I spun around to reveal the bathroom. I had no idea we were to have a room with a bath. A BATH! I have always dreamed of having a hotel room with a clawfoot bathtub! The vanity area was equally gorgeous, with a luxe gold sink and tap duo!
The vanity and the bath led directly from the bedroom, separated only by a thin, burgundy curtain. The toilet itself was separated in it's own room. The king size bed, side tables and clothing rail are directly opposite the wide, flat screen tv, shelves, desk area and mini bar. I ended up using that space to charge my cameras and keep my water bottle.
Just parallel to the main room is a gorgeous, room-length balcony that wraps around the entire building. I loved this area. The view from the balcony looks onto the infamous Gare du Nord station, where we had arrived just moments before. Even though the street noise can be a little on the noisy side, the windows completely block it out when closed. After a wonderful night's sleep, it was time to wake up and hit the city, but, not before a good breakfast! Hotel 25 Hours offers one of the most incredible breakfast spreads I have ever seen. The list of options is almost endless, with everything you could ever want from a hot breakfast, to a cold one. I particularly loved the scrambled eggs with salmon and avocado combination. As well as, if course, the croissants and pain aux chocolat's! There is also a great selection of juice, coffee and fruits. Along with granola, cereals and yoghurts. The best part of the breakfast was the gorgeous dining room. The millennial pink, velvet chairs combined with marble tabletops, screams "Instagram"! The details of the decor that runs throughout the hotel, from the rooms to the restaurant and bar, was so appreciated.
My partner and I even found a 'writing station' - couple of typewriters, nice paper, envelopes and stamps. It was such a cool and original idea for hotel guests to come and write letters home. We ended up using this area everyday to write cute love letters to each other! Haha - when in Paris, right?
I can't wait to visit another 25 Hours Hotel. They have hotels all over the world, with new ones opening all the time! Thank you so much to the team for a wonderful stay!
Have you ever been to Paris? What was your favourite place to visit?
