Hey Guys,

Well, the end of the year 2016 is upon us...
*Cue sentimental music and a cliche blog post*
I mean, isn't it better I rant on here than be one of those people who do it all in a Facebook Status Essay? Yeah, I think so too :) teehee.

As it was "fill a bag for £10", each of these items cost me approximately £1.00 each!

DUSTY GIRLS | Mineral Make-Up

Hey Guys,

I was recently contacted by the lovely team behind Dusty Girlsan Australian make up brand, to try and review some products (exciting!!). I was gifted the Dusty Girls bronzerloose powder and tinted cream
I was excited to try these products as they are designed specifically for people with sensitive skin and/or frequent breakouts/acne. Like a lot of people, I suffer with the odd spout of breakouts and I love to find products that may help with the control of my skin problems.

East London: Vintage Warehouses and Pop-Up Restaurants

Hey Guys,

I recently head East, towards (arguably) the most hipster part of London- Shoreditch. I was on a big hunt! Not your average hunt... No, I wasn't clutching a Pokeball in hopes of catching a Pikachu, I was clutching a ten pound note, in the hopes of catching a bargain!

I brought along my friend Shermin for my first Thrift Warehouse experience courtesy of The East End Thrift Store

Chic Halloween Styling with Boohoo.com

Hey Guys,

As the spoookkaayyy season approaches, I of course had to do some type of Halloween styling post. However, as the title suggests, this isn't your average full-frontal costume post. I have decided to take an everyday brand like Boohoo.com, and style some items into a subtle, sexy, sophisticated, sultry, stylish (alll the S's) outfit for a more toned down look that doesn't screaamm HORROR, GUTS and GORE!
I have modelled this style off Morticia Addams (of The Addams Family) and hope you find that this is a more wearable 'costume' for all you glam gals out there!

Wardrobe Refresh: Donating My Clothes to Charity with Boohoo.com +TRAID

Hey Guys,

So I recently partnered up with Boohoo.com and TRAID to have a bit of a wardrobe refresh by donating a ton of my unworn clothing to charity and getting a brand new outfit from Boohoo! With Autumn/Winter fashion season here, what could be better than to donate some unworn clothes to make room for some great new pieces!

(Keep reading for a link to my Wardrobe Refresh YouTube Video!)

Occasion Wear with Joanie Clothing

Hey Guys,

As the festive season approaches, so does the need for a cute party frock! From work do's to family dinners, the end of the year always calls for a fully stocked glam department! Joanie's got you covered...
Joanie is a brand new vintage-inspired clothing company that sell gorgeous dresses and other pieces for 'nostalgic souls'. I got the opportunity to choose a fabulous item from their first ever look-book so here's what I picked....

RUSH Salon, West Hampstead*

Hey Guys,

I was recently invited down to RUSH Salon, West Hampstead for a complementary hair cut and blow dry. This was super exciting as I very rarely have a chance to get my hair done professionally, so of course I responded a big, fat YES!
Now, it is worth noting here, that I have a huggee phobia of getting my hair cut due to a couple of my extremely traumatic past hairdresser experiences. But I will get onto that a little bit later...

Street Style: Thigh High Boots

Hey Guys,

As promised, here is another instalment of my Boohoo Haul styling posts. This time: Thigh-High Boots!
I don't know if you're familiar with my blog name, but EBONI + IVORY stands for a few things. EBONI is my name and is a different way to spell Ebony, which is a black wood. IVORY is a colour close to white, therefore EBONI + IVORY, in its simplest form, is black and white; contrast and opposites that work well in unison. It also represents me, as my race is a mix of black (Jamaican) and white (Dutch).
Most importantly, it is the idea that as women, we can be so many different, and total opposite versions of what a "woman" is perceived to be. For me, there are days where I feel totally beautiful, girly and chic in pinks and nudes and other days where I am completely the opposite in casual slouchy attire or head to toe black! And that's great

Here, I have styled an urban-chic outfit that completely contrasts my first Boohoo Haul post here.

I hope you enjoy this look as much as I enjoyed putting it together!

Things that make me go "YAASS" Part 2!

Hey Guys,

I had a really fun time putting together my last "Things that make me go YAASS" post (here), so I thought I would bring it back and hopefully you get just as much entertainment from it as I do!

Let's go... again!

YESSTYLE- The Korean Beauty Blogger Box

Hey Guys,

I was recently sent this awesome new blogger box by Korean brand "YESSTYLE". I was super intrigued about what would come in the box, and I'm sure you are too! This box is put together exclusively for Bloggers, but all of the products included are available to purchase as separate items.

As most beauty subscription boxes go, they are a bit of a gamble and there was bound to be something I'm not going to like or find a use for. So here is my honest round up of all the 10 products included in the September box including a couple of cheeky swatches!

Enjoy x

Enjoying the Last Few Days of Sunshine...

Hey Guys,

As September draws to a close, I am squeezing in my final Summer Lookbook before all the Autumn/Winter posts start to creep in.

I am not a regular online shopper, but when I do, I go hard! I hit up one of my favs, Boohoo.com and placed a £90 order! (eek). I will be gradually showing you what I picked up through a series of fashion posts, showing you each item and how I styled it.

6 Kids Films That You Need to Watch

Hey Guys,

As the autumn and winter months slowly creep up on us, I am starting to think of all the ways I can get cosy. One way, for me, is to reminisce with all of my film childhood classics. From musicals to Matilda, wizards to Disney, there're plenty to get though!
However, this list is to inspire! I have thought about some films that you may have overlooked when growing up and I encourage you to rewind and revisit, because they were some of my favs!

A Little Place Called Crail...

Hey Guys,

Here is the third instalment of my Scottish Adventure series! What have you missed so far? Well I wrote about my experience at Stirling Castle and my time at the LUSH Spa, Edinburgh which you can read here.
Today I will be taking you on a little journey through the Scottish fields to a little town called Crail. I spent the day with my best friend and her grandmother (the best tour guide in Scotland!) She took us to have a quick peek at cute Crail, before heading up to Anstruther for the "best fish and chips in Britain"!
Have a look for yourself...

LUSH Spa Nights - Edinburgh

Stirling Castle: A Photo Diary

I recently found myself in a place I had never stepped foot in before... a magical, beautiful, windy place...

Bravura Skincare, Full Round Up*

Hey Guys,

Let's talk skincare! I have spoken about my fluctuating skin problems on my blog before. I have recently been experiencing a range of problems that had never been an issue for me before; from sub-clinical acne to enlarged pores, it was almost as if my skin was finally hitting puberty (which it had previously skipped!) For those of us who have suffered from "problem skin", you understand how much it can affect everyday life- confidence and so on... as an actor who is trying to get into film and TV, problem skin can even affect my ability to do my job!
I have been trying SO many different products, some of which I have bought myself and some of which I have been kindly gifted by brands. My latest venture comes in the form of these colourful, matte-glass bottles from Bravura London
Bravura London officially began  in 2003 by Amanda, who has since put together an incredible line of "at-home" acid skin peels as well as toners and cleansers that are used by many, including some well know celebs (Charlotte Crosby, Ed Sheeran and Sam Faires)!

"Bravura London. (Pronounced BRA-VIEW-RA) is dedicated to supplying the best quality, effective cosmeceutical skincare products at very realistic prices." -http://www.bravuralondon.com/pages/about-us
Do not let the words "Acid Peel" put you off at all! I was initially extremely anxious to try something I thought was a procedure only to be conducted in the safety of a salon! However, with a bit of research and a better knowledge, I feel like I am fully equipped and ready to handle the responsibility of using these products and I would love to talk you through my own routine to hopefully inform and inspire you for your own skin-care journey

House Of Wonderland: Jewellery Club Subscription Box*

Hey Guys,

I hope you are well! This post is a 'lil sneek peek into the wonderful, Edinburgh-based company House Of Wonderland and their new Subscription Box; "Jewellery Club. Let's delve inside and check out what cute things you can find in-box for August!

1. Wooden Mountains Necklace! This is a super cute, lightweight, wooden necklace on a silver chain. The mountains are 4.5cm high and 6cm wide. The chain is 20cm (from clasp to mountain). The neutral colours means that styling this necklace will be effortless. It will make a great statement piece with a fairly simple top or dress for a casual outfit.

2. Set of 2 Earrings; Teepee, Sleepy Bear and an "Adventurer" Pin. The dangly bear earrings are 2.5cm wide and 2cm high. The teepee studs are similar in size. I think the bears will look fab with a turtle neck top and tied up hair. I can't wait to style them!
The Adventurer Pin is 3.5cm tall and 3cm wide. I can't wait to style this pin on my denim jacket or on some of my dungarees.

3. Rockin Temporary Tattoos in some cute, thematic designs. These faux tat's brilliantly match the designs of the jewellery. I am not really a temporary tattoo wearer, but I may try one or two with my 11 year old sister. I think she will love these!

I am going to style these up and take some more pictures for a fashion post! So make sure you come back to see that!
Which piece is your favourite? Let me know in the comments or via Twitter
